Q: What can my Trends page do for me?

A: Your account's Trends page can help you make informed decisions about how your Members book and use reservations on Engine. It’s also a great place to view your company's overall travel activity and tally up your savings.

 

Q: Can I download or schedule these reports?

A: The Trends page is the best place to download a report for your CFO. You can use the Generate Reports button in the upper right-hand corner of your screen to get started. You can run reports on bookings and rewards usage and even schedule a report that will be delivered to your inbox on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. 

 

Q: How do I customize my report dates?

A: You can easily customize report dates by using the date filter at the top of the screen or  by clicking the Generate Reports button in the upper right corner. Add the dates you’d like to analyze and the type of report you’d like to receive, then click Request Report.

 

Q: How does the Spend section get calculated?

A: Spend is the total amount of bookings you’ve made on Engine during the filtered date range, and user type shown on the dashboard. 

 

Q: How are Savings calculated?

A: Savings are calculated by comparing the best available rate (BAR) to the Engine Exclusive rate booked. The total amount of savings here reflects the amount accumulated during the filtered date range shown on the dashboard.

 

Q: What is Engine Benefits measuring?

A: The Engine Benefits section shows the monetary value of all earned Engine Rewards points, Flex savings, and Travel Credits. 

 

Q: In Stays, what does the Average Nightly Rate mean?

A: This metric shows your business’s average spend per night on lodging within the filtered date range and user type at the top of the page. 

 

Q: In Stays, what does Total Stays Booked show?

A: Total Stays Booked reflects the number of individual hotel rooms booked within the filtered date range and user type at the top of the page. 

 

Q: What does Top Locations Visited show?

A: This report shows the cities your workforce frequented most within the filtered date range and user type at the top of the page. 

 

Q: What does Most Active Bookers show?

A: These Travelers booked the most stays, flights, or cars with Engine within the filtered date range and user type at the top of the page.
