Modifying a Flight Guide

You can modify the date, time, departure airport, or arrival airport of an upcoming flight booking on Engine, as long as your fare allows changes.

Note: Changes to Frontier flights must be handled directly with the airline.

Here's how to modify a flight:

Login to Engine at https://members.engine.com

Select the Trips tab to find your booking.

Select the flight you'd like to change to open the trip itinerary.

From the itinerary page, scroll down and click Manage Trip at the bottom of the screen.

A Manage Booking panel will appear with the following options:

  • Modify Flight

  • Select a New Seat or Cabin Class

  • Change Traveler Information

  • Get Support

  • Cancel Flight

Select Modify Flight from the Manage Booking panel.

On the Find a New Flight screen, check the box next to the flight leg you want to change — for example, your departing flight — and click Continue.

Select a new date using the date picker.

Click Search for Flights. Your booking summary will update to reflect the new date before you proceed.

Browse the available flights for your new date and select one.

After selecting a flight, you'll be prompted to choose a fare. Once you've selected your fare, click Select to proceed.

Review the Trip Summary screen, which shows your new flight details alongside a Pricing Details breakdown. This includes any fare difference and taxes, any applicable change fee, and your total change cost — which may be a credit if the new fare is lower than your original. When you're ready, click Confirm Changes.

Once confirmed, your updated itinerary will reflect the new flight. Note that seat assignments and baggage allowances may change — check your confirmation for final details.
