    1. You can only book one car rental at a time.

    1. Members can redeem Engine travel credits but can’t earn Engine travel credits on car rentals.
  4. Can I earn and redeem Engine Rewards?
    1. Members can redeem Engine Rewards but can’t earn Engine Rewards on car rentals.
  5. What car rental companies are available through Engine?
    1. Currently, we’re working with over 50 car rental brands, including Hertz, Avis, Budget, and more.
  6. Do travel confirmations go to the booker and traveler for car rentals?
    1. Yes, as of today, it will go to both the booker and traveler. 
  7. Do we need to create new traveler profiles for car rentals?
    1. No. Travelers added for hotels or flights can also work for car rentals. 
  8. If I want to upgrade my car after purchase, can I do that on Engine?
    1. Not at this time. Our recommendation is to cancel the reservation and rebook with the desired upgrades. 
  9. What kinds of travel policies are available?
    1. Admins can set a price cap on daily rates.
  10. Can I book a car rental for a personal guest?
    1. Yes, you can book car rentals for personal guests.
  11. Do we cover incidentals for car rentals?
    1. Not at this time. Whoever picks up the car must have a credit card in their name at pickup. 
  12. What is the cancelation policy for car rentals?
    1. Depending on the policy and the number of days before pick-up, you might be charged a cancelation fee, or a refund might not be available. Before canceling a trip, we will show the refund amount and the method of the refund. 
  13. What car rental loyalty programs are available?
    1. We’re partnering with the major loyal brands. Every car rental company with a loyalty program will have loyalty pass-through on Engine. This is unlike hotels, where some Hilton rooms include loyalty, and some do not.
