When an eligible flight is canceled, Engine automatically detects the resulting airline travel credit and associates it with the traveler(s), the carrier, and the original booking.
-
Both the traveler and the booker will receive an email notification when a new airline travel credit is available for use.
-
You can find credits by navigating to the Account menu > Travel credits then selecting the Airline Travel Credits tab.
-
You will see the credit's value, expiration date, applicable airline, and the associated traveler.
-
Admins, Coordinators, Department Managers, and Travelers can all view credits within their respective visibility scopes.
-
Search for your new flight.
-
Proceed to the checkout page.
-
Select the traveler for the flight.
-
At the final checkout step, Engine will automatically surface any eligible credits that can be applied to this flight. (Note: Some credits may not be applicable due to specific airline fare rules or route restrictions).
-
Select the credit you wish to apply.
-
Engine will automatically adjust your total due.
-
Confirm your booking.
-
The credit will now be marked as redeemed on the tracking page.
